Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day 2021

This week, Jon Cruddas MP’s office were contacted by Save the Children in regards to their upcoming Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 10th December. Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, they aim to make sure children stay safe, healthy and continue learning, so they can become who they want to be:

Save the Children: “We lead the way on tackling problems like pneumonia, hunger and protecting children in war, while making sure each child’s unique needs are cared for. We find new ways to reach children who need us most, no matter where they’re growing up. We can’t do this alone. Together with children, supporters and partners, we work to help every child become who they want to be”.

This year is the 10th anniversary of Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. Since 2012, many individuals have participated in the event and donated £2 to Save the Children in order to raise money and protect the magic for children all around the world. Most people, schools and workplaces join in the event on Friday 10th December, but you can pick any day that works for you.
