In July 2023 Jon Cruddas MP for Dagenham & Rainham welcomed the opening of the new Rainham Leisure Centre, designed specifically to help everyone in the local community to lead a more active life to improve public health. The centre has a large variety of facilities able to accommodate everyone.
Jon Cruddas MP was recently contacted by “Jays Juniors”.
Jays Juniors is a football club for boys and girls ages 4-6 (school years reception and year 1). They meet every Saturday from 9:00AM-10:00AM at Ridgewell Close, Dagenham, RM10 9AJ.
Last month, Jon Cruddas MP’s team had the pleasure of speaking with the Dagenham Rugby Union Football Club. Dagenham RUFC was started in 1991 by a group of friends who wanted to come together and enjoy their love of drinking port and playing rugby away from other local clubs.
England Swims, a new national campaign has been launched by Swim England, the governing body for swimming. The aim of the campaign is to encourage those from ethnically diverse communities to give their views and experiences of aquatics – helping to make water-based activities more accessible for everyone.
This week Jon Cruddas MP was contacted by Mark Newson the secretary of Dagenham Rugby Union Football Club (DRUFC). Starting in 1991, the club now boasts a membership of around 250 people including teams for both boys and girls as well as adults.
