Barking and Dagenham Neighbourhood Fund

Do you have an idea for a community project that will benefit local residents within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham? If so, applications for grants of up to £10,000 are now open and the council would love to hear from you!

Following the success of the first round of the Neighbourhood Fund (NCIL) earlier this year in which Barking and Dagenham Council awarded £112,799 to 13 local community groups across the borough, the council are pleased to announce that the application window for a second round of funding is now open.

Please note that groups who were previously awarded funding in the last round will not be eligible for a second grant.

Proposed projects and initiatives must benefit residents of the borough and link to the borough manifesto. The application window will remain open until 10pm on Sunday 22nd September and submissions can be made through the ?One Borough Voice' website: https://oneboroughvoice.lbbd.gov.uk/neighbourhood-funding

Jon Cruddas MP said: "this is a fantastic opportunity for local charities and community groups to get investment for projects in the area. There are too many great neighbourhood organisations to name here but I encourage all eligible groups to apply for this fund ? which is an excellent example of the council investing back into the community."
