This week (Sept 7 – Sept 13) is Air Ambulance Week which is an opportunity for all the UK's air ambulance charities to celebrate their life-saving services. For London's Air Ambulance Charity, this will be the first large scale fundraising opportunity since the pandemic.

Jon Cruddas MP has been a long-time supporter of the London Air Ambulance and has worked to raise awareness and in 2016 promoted their fundraising campaign to purchase a second helicopter.

The London Air Ambulance performs a vital role across Dagenham and Rainham. In 2019 they attended to 83 patients across Barking & Dagenham and Havering.

Jon said: "this is an important week for the air ambulance charities. They do such a fantastic job throughout the year coming to the rescue of Londoners that are usually in a critical condition. This is our opportunity to say thank you for that service, and to show our appreciation by giving whatever we can to support their life saving work. These are difficult times for many people, so I'd encourage my constituents to show their support by raising awareness and sharing information about Air Ambulance Week on social media."
